Blurring the line between autobiography and fiction, Sheelagh is a one woman romp into love, loss, and The Smiths.

"Dad asked me to choose the final song. You know, the one that plays as the curtains close..."

Sheelagh has a choice to make - and it has to be the perfect song. Trawling through her record collection and memories, she relives her time spent in music, in love, and with her Dad.

A coming of age story, this one woman show is about what we love, who we love and how. Ever determined to tell it her way, follow Sheelagh as she navigates growing up,  having her heart broken and bad fashion choices. All with a little help from Bowie, The Rolling Stones, and (gulp) The Smiths.

This play is ACE funded and went through a period of RnD in June 2021 at TheatreDeli, Broadgate.
